OK, it's been a while since we had a picture of Zeus, so here is one from this spring showing off the new bricks around the birdbath and the newly planted flowers. Well, we know Zeus is always very well behaved when he steps out on the patio, but he must have been feelin friskier since eating all that healthy food with his new diet. He decided to sneak up under the birdbath and give one of the Mourning Doves a tap on the shoulder. Everyone was OK after the excitement. Our birdbath visitor was just a little surprised as was I when I saw it. I did not think Zeus could move like that anymore! Must be the new diet...look out!
Anyway, we found other alternatives for birdbaths like some hanging styles. This will make it a bit harder for Zeus and his pals to bother our feathered friends. Check out this hand poured aluminum casting finish hanging bird bath with weather resistant paint, which will not rust. The chain is 24 inches in length and the bowl is 15 inches in diameter.
